Wombourne Volleyball Club

In 2017 WVC began to offer specific junior sessions in the hope of giving more youngsters the chance of playing volleyball. Since it was established the session has continued to grow and is now attended by a large group of youngsters each week.

Our junior sessions are open to both males and females from 11-16. All sessions are led by DBS checked and qualified Volleyball England coaches, and are designed to introduce and embed core volleyball skills in a fun and engaging way. We welcome youngsters that are new to the sport and those that have played volleyball previously.

We enable our junior members to experience competitive volleyball by attending local Juvolle and Juvoto sessions that are also attended by juniors from many other local clubs. Junior members also have the chance of having their name put forward to train with the West Midlands Volleyball Association under 15s and under 17s regional teams. WVC have been represented in both teams in the last two years.

Having multiple adult teams allows for the progression of the more experienced junior players, enabling them to play regional volleyball. Several of our junior members have followed this pathway and are currently playing in our regional teams.

Want to attend junior training?

We are always looking for new junior players to attend our sessions. Youngsters are welcome to attend, regardless of ability and volleyball experience. If you/your child wants to try volleyball or attend junior training, please contact the club through social media or via the contact page.

The first training session is free for any new players to WVC!
